We are Linda and David Chalut
We have a small 5 acre farm in northeast Arkansas. We have Pruebred Nubian Dairy Goats. We raise our own food to the best we can. Grass feeded beef and grain feeded pigs for our own use. We have chickens for eggs and guinea's to keep the bugs down.
We got into dairy goats for the milk for David, he had esophagus cancer and went through radiation and chemo and then surgery. After all that he couldn't keep cows milk down so we tried goats milk and it was just fine. So we got a hold of a lady that has been raising Nubian goats for 30 years. Her name is Kathy Lundgeren (Link to her web page at the bottom of page) and she lives in western Missouri. We have known her for over 15 years. We got a doe with a buck kid and a buck from her and then went to another farm and got a doe. That was our start in Feb. 2011. The milk has helped David alot and we make ice cream, butter and cheese from the milk.
